Our Process
The video production process has multiple steps so as to include all the components of creating a successful video. At Path8, we have developed a process to take our clients’ visions and turn them into reality reliably
Step 1: Consulting Meeting
We start with a call or meeting to get to know you and your company. This is when we learn more about your audience, goals, and needs. With this information, we will audit ways other companies in your industry are using video marketing. We then create a plan on how best to reach our goals wth the budget you have.
Step 2: Pre-production
Laying the right groundwork is essential to developing a great video. Pre-production is where we finalize the best game plan for your business. We decide on the video concept, the look/feel and style, we create an outline and/or write the script, and lock down all the other details involved with how the actual video is going to look, sound, and perform.
STEP 3: Production
We’re rolling! Now that we have the road map developed in the pre-production stage, it’s time to put it all together in front of the cameras. Over the course of hours or days our crew will conduct interviews, film supporting footage, record voice overs or whatever the project entails.
Step 4: Post-production
During post-production, our team processes the video footage captured during our time on-site. Our editorial post-production team kicks in to shape your story, handle color-correction, clean up the audio, add music, create graphics and in general make sure your video looks exactly like we planned in pre-production. Once we are done, you will receive the video to add comments and revision requests. Our team implements the changes we agree upon, and usually after one additional round of revisions, the video is in your hands and ready to be shown to the world.
Step 5: Finishing and delivery
With the final cut complete and your approval signed-off, we create high quality files of your video that can be used for a variety of formats, be it for the web, trade shows or broadcast television. We also caption all of your final videos and give you captioned and non-captioned versions of the final product.
